I can not say enough good things about Dr. Baylis. We have entrusted him with our dogs (which he will tell you I treat as my kids) since 1996. He is compassionate and will always tell you the truth about the situations. I have had 2 Cocker Spaniels (Jasmine & Jag) that had cancer and he was there with me through out their treatments and to the end of their lives. My current baby (Reba) is a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and is now 10 years. Dr Baylis has been there from the beginning with us. I would not trust any other doctor with my animals.

Dr. Baylis is the only vet I would consider taking my Goldendoodle, JP to. He is always so kind and he takes the time to let me ask questions and doesn’t ever make me feel rushed. You can tell that he really cares about your dog. My dog gets excited when we enter the office because he knows he’s going to get to see Dr. Baylis and be treated like a real special pooch that he is!

A huge thank you to Heather, who sacrificed her lunch hour trying to place a lost pet I rescued. I was unable to drive there, so She drove to my house today to see if the stray I took in was microchipped. Unfortunately, he wasn’t, but she took her time with me, gave me resources to use, and went over the lost-pet folder she carried with her. Hats off to the Employee of the year!

The first time I met Dr. Baylis he walked in the room and sat on the floor with my sick Rottie. Kane had a stomach problem and couldn’t put on weight and was vomiting frequently. We had been to 3 or 4 other vets before Dr. Baylis. He sat and talked with us for quite a while and in the same visit, after Kane got off his lap, he offered a possible solution to our problem. As simple as sprinkling a powder on Kane’s food. Other vets wanted us to see a specialist $$$. Kane and Dr. Baylis shared a special bond (as we did) up until Kane’s last day. I can never explain how grateful we are to Dr. Baylis for all he did for us and Kane. Thank you.

When I came to you, as a new client, my Greyhound was limping and yelping, my cat was sneezing and coughing. You guys are so efficient and nice, that when you told me my dog might be dying, I didn’t break down, I still had hope. Laci is now limping less, and not crying at all, and Oliver hasn’t made a disgusting mess all night (me chasing him around with snot hanging from his nose). I was looking for a new vet because I have a lot of animals that I love very much, who are all getting older. Trust is VERY important to me, and your office proved it was important to you also. His staff is pleasant, professional and courteous. Phone calls are returned and questions answered. Going to Baylis Animal Hospital is a pleasant experience and I am happy that we have such a wonderful Vet for our dog.

We moved to Goodrich last June and have been taking our (constantly expanding) animal family members there ever since. We have FIVE cats and have had THREE Great Pyrenees Mountain Dogs. Sadly, one of our dogs developed a genetic disease and had to be euthanized. Dr. Baylis made our baby Roxy feel very comfortable and let us sit with her on the floor and hold her head through the whole process. It was very sad, but the caring and understanding of everyone at the clinic made it the best possible situation. We were very pleased with the care leading up to her diagnosis as well. I was extremely happy with my previous Vet (before moving) and have very high standards: Baylis Animal Hospital is exceptional and I’ve referred friends & family to them.
